Apprenticeship + Training
To become a licensed tattoo or permanent makeup artist in Minnesota, the State requires 200 hours of supervised skin time. Our apprenticeship not only fulfills the State requirements, it will teach you how to build your own business to succeed on your own.
What is covered in your apprenticeship:
Rental chair space, tattoo bed, tattoo tray, consent forms, hours log, Swivel chairs, needle disposal, cavicide wipes, printer/paper, stencil Machine.
Application & Pricing:
Take a BBP Course (found on the department of health website), Apply for your temporary license & put down a $1000 (non refundable) deposit. Once the application is approved, the remaining balance is due and the contract begins. Payment plans are available.
Apprenticeship covers 3 months of supervision, if not completed by end of contract your apprenticeship will roll into a month chair rental fee of $700.
Hours & Booking:
Hours of operation Tuesday-Friday 10:00 am-3:00 pm.
Bookings are made through google calendar, 48 hour notice is required for ALL BOOKINGS. Last minute appointments are accepted if available.
NO COMISSION FEES ARE TAKEN THROUGHOUT APPRENTICESHIP. The money you make, is 100% yours to keep.

Apprenticeship Only $6000
This option is perfect if you are looking for solely supervision and already have received a hands on training in the service you want to specialize in.

Apprenticeship + Training (Choice between brows or lips) $8,500
This option is perfect if you are looking to train at Divinity and also receive your apprenticeship. You are saving a total of $1,000 on training fees.
Training includes one 3 Day training with a model on the last day.

Apprenticeship + Brow & Lip Training $11,000
This option is perfect for you if you would like to train at Divinity for both brows & Lips. You are saving a total of $2,000 in training fees.
Training includes 2 separate 3 Day Hands-on training with a model on the last day.
